Change of President

At our meeting on 11th January, outgoing president Tom Crawley, who has been president since July 2008, handed over the reins to our new President Chris Andrews, who will serve our Club until June, 2011. Congratulations, Chris!

New Member

Also at this meeting we inducted our next new member, Marian Tsokos. Congratulations, Marian, on joining our club!

Other News

We have purchased 6 laptops for use by the Esther House girls. Volunteers are required to help teach them word processing and spreadsheets. Please contact John, Patsy or Sheree.

Haiti Earthquake... Bearing the awful earthquake in mind, the Club will be paying for a Shelterbox, as central stocks will need to be replenished.

Our Outbound Exchange Student -

Our outbound exchange student, Zoe Cole, departed Perth Airport on Saturday January 23rd for her year in Norway. She'll be spending her year in Arendal, a town of about 10,000 which is 4 hours drive SW of Oslo. Good Luck, Zoe! (to see this picture in more detail, click here)
