Hello everyone,
Well it has been a busy few weeks. The District 9455 Conference 2012 in Geraldton is over, having been very successful with a very strong theme and 491 attendees to see and hear it all.
Next Ron and I will be off to the International Conference in Bangkok. That will be a wonderful experience, since neither of us has been to an international conference before. Will bring back a report for you.
We have commenced operating our "Gourmet Bacon and Egg Roll" stall at the Stirling Farmers Market on Sunday mornings. A very successful venture, fun to be part of and a great bunch of fellow stall holders.
Jamina is off on her Safari and we wish her a wonderful trip.
Our Honorary Member Bruce Illsley is celebrating his 100th Birthday on Sunday the 6th of May. Bruce inducted me into Rotary and he did it with dignity and sincerity, giving me a sense of the importance of the journey I was to undertake.
Happy Birthday Bruce from all of your friends in the family of Rotary. Enjoy your party!
Cheers,
President Cheryl
